Business Development Manager

John Ross Associates are working with a global organisation specialising in the Software, Print and Print Services industry who are currently seeking multiple Junior Field Sales and experienced Business Development Managers across multiple locations.

Salary guideline – £30,000 – £35,000 – uncapped OTE with Car Allowance, Pension, Phone, Laptop, Mileage, Expenses, Full Training and Clear Routes to Progress.

The role will be office based initially during your probation period (3/6 months depending on performance working towards a hybrid model, 2 days home based, 3 days office based with a view to go fully remote.

We have rare and exciting Business Development Manager roles available for a pro-active, ambitious and driven Field Sales Professionals with an experienced team in the following locations:

·South Wales – NP / CF

·Leeds – LS / WF

Candidates must have a full UK drivers’ licence

We are looking for candidates with at least 2+ Years sales or related experience within a commercial organisation – this could be telesales/account management/appointment setting/field sales – industry experience is not required.

Business Development Manager

The role will offer full training and support to ISO standard and be structured as follows:

Year 1 – Building new opportunities, lead generation, developing new accounts and prospects whilst shadowing the senior sales team.

Year 2 – Progressing and developing into a full-time sales position, growing a customer base and managing existing accounts – moving out into the field.

Year 3 – Progression into a fully trained and experienced Business Development Manager and territory.

·Develop and maintain a good understanding of the products and services that the Company offers and be able to advise others about them.

·Generate new leads and prospects (primarily via research and cold calling) within the UK private sector for specialist labels, packaging and print (existing and new market sectors). Seek out, contact and engage the appropriate individual in an organisation across the UK.

·Work to and consistently achieve (and ideally exceed) sales / revenue targets. There will also be activity targets based on calls, appointments and outcomes supported by the Marketing and Telesales Teams.

·Create quotes for a wide range of established UK and Public Sector business clients through liaison with both UK and overseas suppliers. Applying margin will come through training and understanding our buying channels and a % of GP on Sales.

·Accurate and timely entry of orders onto the CRM system.

·Develop and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, undertaking research, attending appropriate industry exhibitions and reviewing professional publications.
