Business Development Manager – NHS / Public Sector

Our client has been expanding across the UK due to continued success over the last 5 years+. We are now looking to hire 3x Business Development Managers across the South West, South Central and South East of the UK to manage existing accounts and drive new business.

  • Remote Working / Office Commute when Required
  • Large Percentage of the Role will be Growing Existing Public Sector Accounts – Weighted to Account Management over New Business
  • Ability to Earn Commission Immediately
  • £50,000+ Basic, Uncapped OTE, Accelerator Schemes, Over Target Bonuses & Incentives
  • Executive Company Car, Phone, Laptop, Expenses, Benefits Portal & 8% Pension
  • Candidates can be based in either the South West, South East or South Central of the UK (3 roles spanning across Wales to London)
  • Full Support, Ongoing Training, Clear Progression & Freedom to Manage your Territory

Essential Skills:

  • Sales experience into the Public Sector – Any of the following: NHS / Local Government / Housing Associations / Local Authorities / Councils.
  • Motivated, Ambitious, Capable of Liaising with C-Level Decision Makers
  • Able to Plan, Manage and Own their Patch
  • Ability to Grow, Nurture and Expand on Existing Accounts
  • Proactive – Happy to Pick Up the Phone and Generate New Business
  • Hunter / Farmer Approach – Proactive
  • Sound Knowledge of Frameworks / Tenders / Public Sector Proposals
  • Willing to Develop, Learn and Progress our Client’s way
  • Fire in the Belly Approach / Driven to Succeed
  • Consultative / Solution Selling Ability
  • Software / SaaS Sales Experience Desirable – Not Essential
  • Capable of Learning Technical Solutions & Software

This is a superb opportunity for an established business development manager to expand and better existing interpersonal skills with new and existing clients within the public sector. Regular training and development support are provided – this is not a typical BDM position and your career will be mapped out from day 1.
