We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer who can bring their own innovative ideas, technical skills and expertise to develop, improve and maintain current and new systems and solutions.

Role Overview 

Problem solving skills will be key in bug fixing and development on the current systems, as well as innovation in refactoring code for better and more efficient processes. The role will also include aspects of System Admin and also some aspects of project control within our system. Training will be provided on the core systems and work-flow processes.

The primary aspect of the role is help maintain and develop our internal management system and client front end platforms.

Currently our client has an AWS environment setup, part of the role will involve maintain and developing this environment to continue the ongoing running of all systems.

Key Skills

The successful candidate to have a good knowledge of PHP and other coding packages including:

Object Oriented Programming

MySQL

JQuery, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, HTML

Also with desired Skills in if possible:

LAMP Stack

Git

MVC Frameworks

The candidate would also need Experience with AWS, Linux servers (CentOS), Apache and low-level Systems Administrator.

A hard working, enthusiastic, personable, team orientated candidate is absolutely essential due to the size of the IT team and the need from time to time to help other team members with their tasks or rely on others to help with yours.

Salary

Our client will offer a fantastic package and HUGE array of perks and benefits. The salary for this position will be negotiable dependent on experience £30,000 – £35,000 as a guideline.
