Our client, an award winning digital marketing consultancy is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join its experienced technical team in their luxurious south west office on a permanent contract.
ROLE
Reporting to the Director of IT and Business Development you will play a crucial role in improving, developing, supporting and designing bespoke web solutions for online applications and email platforms.
You will be able to provide development solutions for our client’s customers websites, web based applications, interfaces, mobile web applications and much more.
PRE-REQUISITES
In order to be successful at application you need to demonstrate experience with the following:
Experience and in depth understanding of email function including feedback loops, SPF, IP/DNS configuration, MTAs, delivery and processing.
Experience and understanding of email & SMS construction, broadcast and handling is essential.
Experience of working with scalable large database driven applications.
Experience of working in a client driven environment.
Knowledge and experience of Linux, Apache, MYSQL/MSSQL, OOP, PHP particularly file handling and processing with task automation, JavaScript, AJAX, XML JSON, SOAP.
FURTHER DETAILS
API integration experience (social / eCommerce / restful).
HTML / CSS – knowledge of browser support, standards compliance against W3C.
An understanding of responsive design for mobile.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
Good experience of software development life cycles and familiar
with working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
Ability with graphics packages (PS/AI/ID).
SALARY
The salary for this opportunity will depend on your experience and ability but a broad range has been given between £30,000 – £40,000 per annum.
