Our client is a privately owned, innovative market leading software solution organisation who provide a portfolio of bespoke data management related services to the public and commercial sectors.

This role will be home-based with full-training and support on the migration process with office commute when required.

You will be working full-time hours (40 pw) Monday to Friday, contracted for a minimum of 4 months with the potential to extend up to 6 months.

Candidates should be within reasonable commute to the Taunton and Bristol area.

This role will involve liaising directly with our clients commercial and public sector customers to assist and manage with the migration of their Windows 2008 Servers onto newer hardware in a smooth and timely manner.

Candidates will ideally have previous experience within a related field and must have excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills

Main Responsibilities

·Taking full ownership of the entire migration process, from the initial contact through to the switchover and decommission of the old server

·Manage and assist customers with software installation

·Configuring the customers server to accept our client’s unique bespoke software

·Working efficiently as a team player to deliver against projects and targets for completing server migrations to deadline dates

·Proactively contact customers to schedule migration processes and action key stages

·Support the customer during and after the switchover until completion of the migration

Candidate Criteria

·Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot server and installation issues or equivalent IT support experience

·An ability to quickly assimilate and retain new information

·Able to adapt to new challenges

·Thrive in a procedural driven environment

·Be trusted to proactively prioritise your own workload while following up on customer communications

·Experience with Windows Server operating systems

Salary & Application

Our client is offering a daily rate between £80-100 for 40 hours per week with 1 hour break, 8:30am – 17:30 however, this can be negotiable/flexible for the right person.
